We are excited to announce the 2024 cemetery tour schedule! 2024 will be an exciting year for tours as we are doing “themed” tours this year. We hope that this will help bring new and repeat guests on the tours, and highlight some different stories found throughout the cemetery.
So, what are the tour dates?
June
All of June will be about the famous Regina Cyclone, and we’ll visit over a dozen graves (and unmarked graves) belonging to the victims of the storm. We will also be addressing the famous Titanic connection.
- June 14
- June 21
- June 28
July
July’s tours will be a throwback to the previous years, and we’ll be visiting some old favourite along the way, like Mary Wilson, Francis Darke and James Strathdee. Many of these stories will be found during other tours this year, so it’ll be a great taste for those new to the cemetery tours but unsure what to expect.
- July 5
- July 12
- July 19
- July 26
August
August will feature a brand-new theme and a great collection of lesser-known stories. In August we will be highlighting the famous women of Regina, many who have been forgotten by history. We will be mention Catherine Sheldon-Williams, Rosie Schmidt and a great story about Regina’s very first citizen.
- August 2
- August 9
- August 16
- August 23
- August 30
September
September will be a return to the most popular of our tours, the flashlight tours. However, this year the tour is themed as well. Called the “Murder and Mayhem Tour”, this tour is all about homicide, suicide, natural disasters, and executions. It’s a very dark tour, both figurative and literally, so it might not be suitable for younger audiences.
- September 6
- September 13
- September 20
- September 27

How to Book a Tour
If you are looking to attend a tour this year, you can buy tickets on the website, or you can purchase tickets at the gate. However, we would like to keep the group size around 20 people so that we can get to all the stops on the tour before they lock the gates for the night. Tickets for 2024 are $15 a person, but teachers, students and children can attend for free.
We hope to see you there!
