We are excited to announce the 2025 cemetery tour schedule! Following the success of last year, we will once again be offering “themed” tours, with a different theme every month. We will be bringing back the “Regina Cyclone Victims” and “Famous Women of Regina” tours due to popular demand.

So, what are the tour dates?

June

All of June will be about the famous Regina Cyclone, where we will visit 17 graves (some marked, some unmarked, some mismarked) of the victims. This tour will also talk about the infamous RMS Titanic connection.

  • June 6
  • June 13
  • June 20
  • June 27

July

July’s tours will explore some of Regina’s lesser-known or forgotten stories. These tours will address the Regina Riot and subsequent record destruction, a famous female (alleged) murderer who dominated headlines during the 1950s, a man-made epidemic that left many children dead, and an infamous Freemason.

  • July 4
  • July 11
  • July 18
  • July 25

August

August will feature a return of one of our most popular tours of 2024. This tour explores the stories of some of the women of Regina’s earliest days, from Catherine Sheldon-Williams, Rosie Schmidt, and a great story about Regina’s very first citizen.

  • August 1
  • August 8
  • August 15
  • August 22
  • August 29

September

Last September, we hosted the “Murder and Mayhem Tour”, but this year we will be focusing strictly on true crime only. These stories include love triangles gone wrong, police killings, executions and rumours of witchcraft. Some of these stories may not be appropriate for children.

  • September 5
  • September 12
  • September 19
  • September 26

October

October’s tours will be about the pandemics that ravaged the city, from the famous Spanish Influenza, to smallpox, typhoid and TB. Thousands have died due to pandemics, but we often pretend we have moved past those days (although we know we have not). May some of their stories teach us lessons that can help us the next time there is a pandemic.

How to Book a Tour

If you are looking to attend a tour this year, you can buy tickets on the website, or you can purchase tickets at the gate. However, we would like to keep the group size around 20 people so that we can get to all the stops on the tour before they lock the gates for the night. Tickets for 2025 are $20 a person, but teachers, students and children can attend for free.

We hope to see you there!
